White Pines Building Group, LLC (WPBG) is a Real Estate Investment firm that acquires residential real estate for development, rehabilitation, rezoning, repositioning and resale to the marketplace.

The Managing Partners of WPBG have over 20 years experience in the Middle Tennessee market and over 5 years in the Palm Beach Florida area. The properties WPBG transforms are in markets that are known for their value, desirability to live, general community, and employment and growth trends.

Tyler Pennington

Owner
Tyler has owned and operated businesses within the real estate and construction industry for 20 years. He has developed, built, and remodeled throughout Davidson and Williamson County since 2004. Additionally, Tyler is a licensed Real Estate agent at Pilkerton Realtors, providing White Pines with access to MLS market data that is crucial to the research and discovery of construction projects, as well as acquisition of rental properties. Over the years, he has maintained an extensive knowledge of the south Nashville and Williamson County real estate markets, not only for his companies, but also to assist with any Real Estate needs of clients, friends and family. 
At White Pines, Tyler's primary emphasis is in the financial realm. He handles all acquisitions, project funding, banking, institutional capital and investor relations. He oversees the accounting department and all finances relating to each specific project as well as the company at large.

Cory Parkinson

Owner 

From 2011 to 2012, Cory lead a top producing real estate team in South Florida completing more than 150 transactions in 12 months. Cory then formed JLCP investments, which he grew into a multi-million dollar company in less than 2 years, completing over 65 investment transactions ranging from REO properties, auction houses, short sales, and multi-family dwellings. In 2014, JLCP expanded into the Nashville market partnering with Tyler Pennington to complete over a dozen successful projects in about 6 months.
At White Pines, Cory primarily manages the physical construction progress. This involves all the daily logistics and moving parts of deploying our workforce to the jobs; as well as site visits, quality control, field modifications, product selection and ordering, and Codes inspections. Cory oversees all of our employed project managers to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed.

Clay Kunze

Owner
In 2013, after managing production and distribution of overseas products for an advertising firm, Clay decided to transition into the Real Estate industry. In the same year, he became a licensed Realtor and started a construction company, K&R Development, LLC. In less than 18 months, K&R generated multi-million dollar revenue in the Nashville market. At K&R, Clay handled acquisitions, daily on-site management, marketing, sales and contract transactions.
At White Pines, Clay's primary function is in the project development stage. Clay handles all initial project details between acquisition and ground-breaking. From surveying, to architectural plans, to permits, to bidding and budgeting, he sets the stage for the project managers to succeed in the field. Clay oversees the connectivity of everything happening on paper to everything being executed in the field.

Blake Neelley

Project Manager
Blake Neelley is a Nashville native, with a decade of experience in the construction industry starting off as a specialist in water and fire restoration - in which he is certified. At White Pines, Blake works as a project manager and currently oversees projects in West Nashville, Green Hills, Woodbine, and Crieve Hall. He has completed nearly 70 units, both new construction and remodels, since joining the team in 2016. Blake is extremely knowledgeable and very personable; he thrives in developing relationships with our buyers and clients becoming an valuable tool for them as they navigate the ever-stressful home building and buying process.

Chad Roberts

Project Manager
Chad Roberts is originally from central Florida, moving to Nashville in the early 2000s to attend Lipscomb University. Chad joined the team at White Pines in June of 2016 as a project manager. He brings a background in business operations and logistics. Chad has quickly developed a passion for residential construction while completing over 40 new projects in Green Hills, Wedgewood Houston, East Nashville, and Crieve Hall. Chad excels in scheduling, quality control, analytics, and logistical execution.  

 

Eric Hayes

Project Manager

Eric was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia. After graduating from the University of Maryland, he traveled overseas to Spain and Lithuania to play professional basketball. Returning to the US, Eric worked in the natural energy industry and then at an insurance agency. After moving to Nashville in 2017, Eric started working part time at White Pines as the warranty and rental manager. After a few months, it was evident Eric had the skill set to move into a full-time position as Project Manager in December of 2017. Eric's discipline and calculated approach has allowed him to quickly understand the construction process. He is currently overseeing projects in Green Hills.

Veronica Oliva

Financial Controller

Born in Los Angeles, CA, Veronica made her way to Palm Beach Gardens, FL in 2004. Starting as the receptionist in a real estate office, she worked her way up to being the Comptroller for 5 Keller Williams Realty offices based out of Jupiter, FL. Veronica moved to Nashville in January 2016 and started working with White Pines Building Group in February 2016 as the Financial Controller. She handles all daily accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and entity management. Additionally, Veronica acts as the Office Manager handling back office matters, human resources, benefits, and all employee relations.

Allison Newman

Director of Operations

Allison was born and raised in Nashville and attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville where she established her background in Public Relations. Upon graduating, she joined the team at White Pines as receptionist and secretary. Quickly making herself valuable in numerous ways, she was promoted to Director of Operations. Allison runs the front office and maintains organization and connectivity between White Pines and all clients, buyers, Realtors, vendors, contractors, and more. She is instrumental in dealing with buyers' selection process, helping our buyers through the customization process for their homes. Additionally, Allison manages our marketing, website and social media presence.
